The ground floor and basement of a listed early Victorian shop was reconfigured to create an ‘open kitchen’ cake shop for Konditor & Cook. Douglas fir plywood is used to form a tiered window display, cantilevering over an existing stair. The tiered stands are capped with thin white Corian. A bespoke table sits in the middle of the space, providing a place for customers to sit and eat or watch a presentation.
